Observation tower

Observation tower Suchý Vrch is a part of Kramářova tourist lodge and it was originally constructed like a waterworks tower in the years 1931-1932 according the project of A. Patrmann.
Observation is made up concrete and looks like bolete. The tower of observation is 33 metres high and the view point is at 22 metres height. Ther are 130 steps.
In the summer time it is final point for walking tourists, in the winter time it is paradise for classic skiers. There is a lot of regularly well maintained ski tracks.
 

Observation tower Suchý vrch is open all year long from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For entrance is necessary to buy a token in buffet. You can watch historical photography during climbing up on the tower. These pictures of lodge and tower are taken from the year 1926.
